Me by Blackdogranch LLC

Privacy

Effective August 23, 2026

The short version

Blackdogranch LLC will never read your Me. Your data is never sold, never shared with anyone, and never used for any purpose beyond running this service for you: not to improve the product, not to train a model, not for analytics, not out of curiosity. There is no advertising here and there never will be.

What is stored

  • Your account. The identifier Google gives us for you, your email address, and your name if Google supplies one. We never receive your Google password and never ask for one.
  • What you put in Me. The facts, people, projects and preferences you enter, and the ones an AI proposed and you accepted. This is the product; it is stored so you can read it, edit it and take it away.
  • Where each fact came from. Which AI proposed it or that you entered it yourself, and when. Provenance is a feature, and it is data about your AI rather than about you.
  • Your connection keys. A name you choose, the scopes you granted, and a one-way hash of each key. The key itself is never stored, which is why we can only replace one and never show it again.
  • Sessions. An opaque identifier in a cookie so you stay signed in. It contains nothing about you.

What is not stored

No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, no third-party scripts of any kind. The site loads nothing from anybody else's servers. The only cookies are the sign-in session and a short-lived one that makes sign-in itself safe.

Who else sees it

Only the AIs you hand a key to, and only the scopes you gave that key. That is a decision you make one key at a time and can undo by revoking it. An AI with no key sees nothing, and that is the default for anything you have not explicitly connected.

The service runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data on our behalf and can see it the way any hosting provider can. We use no other processors. Should a court ever compel disclosure we would have to comply, and we would tell you unless the order forbids it.

Taking it with you

You can export everything in Me in a form that needs no AI vendor to read: the facts, their history, and where each one came from. Owning a record of yourself means being able to leave with it, so the export is a feature rather than a concession.

Deleting things

Deleting a memory deletes it, along with its history. There is no recycle bin and no archive copy. To delete your account and everything in it, write to us and it will be done.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. A change that reduced your privacy would be announced before it took effect, not after.
